O.B. Tampons Petition on obultratampons.com is growing strong with over 1,100 signatures from around the world
With some 400 email signatures awaiting confirmation, these signed protests and comments hope to achieve a positive outcome. This resulting protest is to help get answers and most of all a solution to a health, hygiene and lifestyle problem caused by Johnson and Johnson when they pulled a valued and effective tool women have relied on every month for generations. The signatures include husbands, boyfriends and family members also affected by the grief and frustration resulting from a significant change in lifestyle and quality of life experienced by older women who naturally can experience heavy monthly menstrual flow. Most complain of being in absolute need of the Ultra size tampon to get through two extra heavy days of their menstrual cycle, and that they managed well with the help of this trusted o.b. Ultra sized product. Women around the world have expressed how they have relied on the o.b. Ultra size tampon. These, and all tampons, are classified as a medical device. This particular sized device played a critical part of keeping their lives “normal” and able to participate in regular activities and work during those heavy flow days. Now since being pulled from the market without notice or comparable replacement, women are shocked and many outraged, igniting the boycotting of Johnson and Johnson products. Will they see but their profit loss, the loyalty they have lost by their actions and silence in the o.b. ultra size tampon disappearance?

The official word from the manufacturer
“To our valued customers: o.b.® tampons experienced a temporary supply interruption that has resulted in some stores being out of stock. We are working hard to bring supply back in line with demand and expect these stores to be restocked soon. We apologize to those who may have been inconvenienced.”
